oh wow, it's been awhile. while i don't blame yunho for storming out on jae in the last chapter, i expected a better closure to their relationship. dealing with depression is not easy and to have someone you love completely trample your efforts and throw away part of what's keeping you on track is difficult. anger is to be expected and looking at it from yunho's perspective, i understand. that said, the complete lack of followup discussions was disappointing. i expected better of the pair of them. things said in anger shouldn't be the parting words of a meaningful relationship. they may not be ready to have a romantic relationship, but completely cutting off contact is a cowardly way of ending things.

i'm more curious as to what jae's been doing in the last five months. he seems to have grown out of his anti-social shell a bit and is conquering some of his fears. i don't blame him for his reactions to yunho either. they hadn't parted on good terms and he's not exactly perfect with social graces. he's probably overwhelmed with the thought of people going to the island; it's kind of a violation of his privacy with people exploring his house and everything. maybe yunho's parting words served as a good motivation to try to improve his social skills, whatever the case, this new jae is a bit surprising.
